I've just finished reading H G Wells' original "War Of The Worlds", and a very good read it was too, but every now and then in the book one came upon incongruous uses of language, that clearly in his time meant something different than they do today.

I like Chinese and Japanese food (and when I mean Chinese, I mean the real stuf, not the stuff that's done for western taste in takeaways here). When I'm in the right mood I like Indian food. I also quite like French, Thai and Italian food.

Other authentic foods I've had are Swedish, German. Korean, Indonesian, Turkish, Syrian, Russian, Ethiopian and Greek.
